If you own a Copilot+ device, you have the necessary hardware to run AI tools; you just need to find them. Fortunately, Microsoft is making the process easier by revamping the AI Hub on the Microsoft store.
The Microsoft Store’s New AI Hub Eases People Into Using Their Device’s NPUs
In an announcement on the Windows Developer Blog, Microsoft details what the new AI Hub can do for you. The company is putting a lot of onus on the onboarding process, as the hub will now do a better job recommending tools that people can use with their new Copilot+ devices:
We’ve created a new Welcome Experience to help you familiarize yourself with exclusive Windows features, ready for you to use – to start, these include Windows Studio Effects, Paint Cocreator and Photos Image Creator. And when you’re ready to dive into a specific workflow, we’ll help you get started.
Once you’re all settled in with your new tools, the AI Hub will update you on all future developments. This includes both new apps that will put your NPU to good use alongside built-in Windows tools such as Recall and Improved Windows Search.
Microsoft states that you can check out this new AI Hub starting today in the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, and Australia. If you’re outside of those countries, Microsoft says that it’ll try to roll it out to more places in the coming months.
The new AI Hub is a great way to get started with more advanced tools, but purchasing the right device for your needs can be tricky. As such, keep an out for these specs if you’re buying an AI PC so you’re not left short-changed.
